Faith in Action: Maintaining Belief While Waiting for Answers

I first posted these thoughts on Facebook, but I wanted to add them to my blog because it's a testimony to how good God is!

It’s just starting to sink in. There’s nothing like listening to praise music when God’s shown up in such an amazing way in your life. There were so many moments that I felt alone and not noticed. There were also so many times that a friend would take a moment from their day to encourage me. I knew my decision was right for my family and my mental health, but so many people only see the money and the security that a tenured position can bring.

I’m here to tell you that, no matter what you’re believing God for, keep believing, keep acting on your faith, keep waiting. Waiting is so difficult, but He is for you! If you haven’t received what you’re praying for, it’s just not here YET. Keep praying. Your answer will come.

My prayers for me to get hired for an online teaching position and for my daughter to be accepted for online school in a different district than where we live were BOTH answered, one after the other, right at the 11th hour. God is good!

My church had a great guest minister give a message about faith just last week, and it was the most timely message I've ever had the pleasure of hearing.
